HOUSING ASSISTANCE:

Rent is based on income level. One and Two Bedrooms are available. Contact them directly for more information.

Town of Jupiter has a program where a person can obtain up to $5000 for a down payment for the purchase of a home in Jupiter, after filling out forms and qualifying through the Community Development Block Grant program and the Housing Leadership Council.  Contact: 561-653-4107 for more information.

FOOD STAMPS/EBT CARD:

FOOD PANTRY:

El Sol Resource Center provides space to CROS Ministries to distribute food on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. A person may go once a month to request food bags. 106 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. 33458

SURGERY / SPECIALIST ASSISTANCE:
When a patient needs surgery there are several options to help.
1) A payment plan may be able to be arranged with the provider so that the patient can make a deposit and then a payment plan for the rest.
2) A payment plan may be arranged after a price reduction is negotiated with a specialist or hospital.
3) Project Access: Patient can be referred to Project Access and the Palm Beach Medical Society to be put on the waiting list. Special forms need to be filled out. Patient will be contacted directly by Project Access.

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING:
A person may walk in to the Jerome Golden Center from 8:00 – 9:00am any day of the week to see a psychiatrist for counseling and evaluation.

HOMELESS SHELTER:
The Lords Place is the initial check-in point from 6:00am – 9:00am in the morning. Then the person will be transported to the Lewis Center once interviewed.
This is a 90 day shelter where the person will be evaluated, receive 3 meals a day, shared room, medical assistance, job placement assistance, and other services.
From Jupiter the Jupiter Police will evaluate a person and provide transportation. No person with an open outstanding warrant will be allowed in center.

EDUCATION ASSISTANCE:
El Sol Jupiter Neighborhood Resource Center offers classes to Spanish speaking resident during the evening. They offer English conversation, Computer Classes, and Spanish Literacy. Contact: 561-745-9860 for schedule. Located at 106 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL. 33458.
Jupiter High School Adult Education Program is offered several times during the year. Contact Jupiter High School for more information.

HIV/AIDS TESTING:

HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE:
Affordable Care enrollment will end February 15, 2015.
Health District Coordinated Care applications may be obtained online by visiting: www.floridahealthpalmbeachcounty.com. Coordinated Care Option 1 provides a Primary Care Physician and all services. Option 2 is only for services in the Health Care District facilities for 90 day coverage.

MEDICATION ASSISTANCE:
MyClinic providers will do their best to prescribe medication that is available free or at reduced pricing at local pharmacies. There may be times when required medication will not be available at a reduced price.

DIABETES COUNSELING:
MyClinic offers a special diabetes night and education. Special information is available for diabetics and their families. Ask your provider or scheduler for more information about Diabetes Counseling and supplies.
