Born in the United States and raised in Guatemala, Suzanne Cordero has a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala City. She has been serving as the Executive Director of El Sol, Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center since 2018. After living for 2.5 years in Lexington, KY, she moved to Jupiter, Florida in 1992.
She volunteered extensively for many years with St. Vincent de Paul of St. Peter’s Catholic Church which is how she first connected with the large community of Hispanic families living in our area. Suzanne started serving on the Board of Directors of El Sol in 2010 and took the position of Executive Director of The Guatemalan Tomorrow Fund in 2012, allowing her to work with youth in rural Guatemala.
Suzanne has been a part of the Board of Directors of MyClinic since October 2013.
