Dr. Duke Gocke Memorial Fund “Food is Medicine Program”
On March 21, 2021, MyClinic mourned the passing of our beloved volunteer physician Dr. Duke Gocke. Dr. Duke Gocke Memorial Fund is established in support of MyClinic’s “FOOD is MEDICINE” Program.
Doctor Gocke was the kindest, most dedicated and compassionate person and friend of MyClinic. He treated patients and staff alike with the greatest respect – always with a smile.
Our lives are forever enriched for having shared in this season of Dr. Gocke’s life. Dr. Gocke’s legacy will continue through our work and in our personal lives. The lessons he taught by his own example went far beyond medical care.
Our deepest sympathy and thank you to Dr. Gocke’s family for sharing Dr. Gocke with MyClinic and our community – he will be deeply missed, and never forgotten.

Dr. Gocke’s family has generously requested memorial donations to MyClinic in honor of Dr. Gocke’s service. MyClinic’s Board of Directors is so grateful for this gesture and has set up the Dr. Duke Gocke Memorial Fund which will be used to support efforts to inform and provide access to healthy foods that appropriate for people living with chronic medical conditions and nutritional deficits.
This program will be advised by Dr. Gocke’s daughter, Mary Gocke, who is a Registered Dietician and Nutrition Counselor.
