MyClinic is GROWING to serve our community
Expansion Plan APPROVED by Jupiter Town Council, May 4, 2021
In the Fall of 2020, MyClinic was approved as a Sub-Recipient of the Town of Jupiter for funding under the federal Community Development Block Grant- COVID emergency response program (CDBG-CV). This grant award of $153,000 is being used to fund a portion of the cost related to expanding our current building to accommodate infection control guidelines and program growth.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted individuals and families in so many ways. Loss of employment, health insurance, housing and food insecurity are just a few of the issues being faced by many for the first time in their lives.
In addition, far-reaching mental health implications are profoundly affecting children as well as adults. With these factors in mind, this expansion project will provide additional space to provide services to a greater number of people in need in a safe and healthy environment.
The new space will also incorporate an “affiliate office” that will enable outside social service agencies to rotate through MyClinic, bringing services such as Legal Aid, food assistance and insurance benefits eligibility directly to the people who need it most.
Many thanks to the following professional firms that are servicing this project Pro Bono:
