About us

MyClinic is an independent, not-for-profit organization that serves as a hub for those in need in Palm Beach County, Florida. Through our Social Determinants of Health program, we assess the circumstances and conditions that have an impact on your overall health and quality of life including your access to healthy food, safe housing, quality of education, transportation and health care. Our dedicated team will get to know you and your family and provide you with appropriate services and connections to community organizations to help you lead a healthier life.

Our Mission

MyClinic’s team, including volunteers and collaborative partners, is committed to empowering individuals and families who have limited resources to improve their health and quality of life by providing information, access to clinical care and community services.

History & Milestones

The current MyClinic represents the third phase in a process that began in January 2012 when a group of stakeholders came together to form a coalition to address the health needs of our most vulnerable neighbors. The coalition was comprised of representatives from the public and private sectors including: El Sol, Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center; Jupiter Medical Center; Town of Jupiter; Florida Health-Palm Beach County; and guidance from the Florida Public Health Institute.

  • Phase 1: A free clinic is born (January 2012 - December 2013)
  • Phase 2: A Temporary Solution (January 2014- December 2016)
  • Phase 3: A Permanent Home (Dec 2016- present)

“Jupiter Volunteer Clinic (JVC)” was the result of collaboration among Palm Beach County Health Department, Jupiter Medical Center, El Sol-Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center, Town of Jupiter, with guidance from Florida Public Health Institute.

The JVC operated on Saturday mornings within the Health Department’s Jupiter Auxiliary Health Center. With a total of 20 active volunteers, JVC provided primary medical care to 380 patients for a total of 877 visits in almost 2 years.

Modular clinicIn January 2014, MyClinic formally began operations as an independent, not for profit FREE CLINIC located in a temporary modular building. Thanks to start-up funds provided by Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Palm Health Foundation and Quantum Foundation and ongoing support from Jupiter Medical Center (including free lab and imaging services and administrative support), MyClinic became a true MEDICAL HOME to 1740 registered patients in need.

With the addition of several volunteer specialists and referral services, MyClinic quickly outgrew this space. By the end of 2016, 56 active volunteers helped to provide 3378 annual visits.

Ribbon Cutting at MyClinic location on 411 W Indiantown RdIn December 2016, MyClinic purchased a 5000 sf medical office building to accommodate future growth and create a unique access point with the first of its kind co-location of a Free Clinic and a Federally Qualified Health Center (CL Brumback Primary Care Clinic operated by the Health Care District of Palm Beach County).

Within two full years of co-located operation, by the end of 2018, MyClinic grew to serve 2500+ people in need of medical, behavioral health, care coordination and health education.

MyClinic in 2021: In addition to a comprehensive behavioral health program, specialty and urgent dental referrals and health information and education, today’s MyClinic is a navigation and care coordination hub that provides a holistic approach to working with individuals and families in need to improve their health and quality of life. Our dedicated Care Coordinators take the time to get to know every person and family to create a personalized plan that addresses social determinants of health as well as medical and other health related needs.

People are the heart of MyClinic and collaboration is at the very core of our approach to care.

MyClinic is GROWING to serve our community

In the Fall of 2020, MyClinic was approved as a Sub-Recipient of the Town of Jupiter for funding under the federal Community Development Block Grant- COVID emergency response program (CDBG-CV). This grant award of $153,000 is being used to fund a portion of the cost related to expanding our current building to accommodate infection control guidelines and program growth. MyClinic’s Expansion plan was approved by Jupiter Town Council on May 4, 2021. Read more…
